Welcome to Ohio University Campus Recreation. We have a deep tradition of excellence by providing a variety of programming in an environment conducive to the holistic development of our participants and employees. "Where recreation meets learning" has special meaning to us and serves as the framework for our practice. Through the establishment of learning outcomes, the Division promotes the physical, emotional, and social growth of individuals by encouraging the development of lifelong skills and positive attitudes through recreation activities.
Intramural sports and recreational activities are happening this quarter at Ohio University Southern and the Proctorville Center. Participate for credit or just play for the fun of it. Opportunities include:
- Flag football
- Kick boxing
- Weight lifting and conditioning
- Rock climbing
- Back packing and camping

Mission Statement: The Division of Campus Recreation complements the mission of Ohio University by providing a learning-centered environment that promotes the growth of all students through involvement in the operation and/or use of recreational facilities and programs.
Vision Statement: Grounded in developmental and recreational theory, the Division of Campus Recreation operates programs in a welcome environment which is conducive to personal growth and facilitating social justice.
Schedule of Campus Activities: Sports and recreational opportunities are offered both for credit and just for the fun of it. Activities change quarterly and are listed on the OUS and the OUP academic schedule.
