Ohio University is holding two information sessions for the Master’s program in Counseling on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
The first session will be at the Ironton Campus in the Caucus Room located on the first floor of the Academic Building from 1:30-3:00 p.m., followed by a second session at the Proctorville Center, Room 130 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
The Master’s program in counseling is housed in The Patton College of Education at Ohio University Athens. The program will be offered at Ohio University Southern beginning Fall 2013.The Master’s in Counseling is an accredited program with concentrations in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling.
Curriculum will be taught as a hybrid program by faculty from the Athens campus using both online and in-class courses. Application procedures and deadlines along with job opportunities for graduates will be discussed as well at the meeting.
