From State Route 52:
Take the Downtown Ironton/State Route 93 exit. Travel State Route 93 north approximately six-miles and turnright (County Rd 29) at the Wayne National Forest/Lake Vesuvius entrance. Follow County Road 29 approximately one-mile. The Nature Center is located at the intersection of County Roads 29 and 44 across from the Lake Vesuvius Dam and adjacent the Vesuvius Furnace.

Traveling South on State Route 93 from Jackson County:
Travel State Route 93 South until approximately six-miles from Ironton Ohio. The Wayne National Forest Ironton District Ranger Station will be on the left and a Rest Area will be on the right. Take the first left (County Rd 29) after passing the Ranger Station and follow for approximately one-mile. The Nature Center is located at the intersection of County Roads 29 and 44 across from the Lake Vesuvius Dam and adjacent the Vesuvius Furnace.
At Ellisonville look for the entrance sign for Wayne National Forest. That road is County Road 29. Proceed about 1 mile. The Nature Center will be directly in front of you at the intersection of County Roads 29 and 44.
