INTRODUCTORY ASTRONOMY - CHRIS CECIL
This course is designed for the beginner stargazer who is looking to take up a new hobby or expand on the one he or she currently has.  This course is not designed for experienced astronomers.  Course topics include modern methods of observational astronomy, age and description of the planets, using a telescope and star map, and understanding the stars and how they get their color. Materials will be supplied.

CHINESE FOR BEGINNERS - YEHONG SHAO-LUCAS
You will be introduced to the basic grammar and a set of vocabulary in the Chinese language.  This workshop adopts a multi-faceted approach to help participants gain understanding in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Chinese.  Various aspects of Chinese culture are explored.

Antler University:Shed Antlers and Whitetail Management  - ADAM FRY

Letemgrow.org kicks off the 2012-2013 whitetail management season by inviting both hunters and non-hunters to a workshop focusing on the role of shed antlers in the whitetail management puzzle.Letemgrow.org membership representatives will be on-hand for those interested in having legal harvests and shed antlers officially measured for the TrueScore records program.This workshop is free and open to the public.

DOG OBEDIENCE

COURSE: DOG OBEDIENCE Puppy Kindergarten
Puppy Kindergarten – This class is for puppies 2-6 months of age. The owner and puppy learn at a more relaxed pace the basics of dog obedience. Sit, stay, come, lie down and good manners are the focus of this puppy class. Since puppies have short attention spans, there is more play and social interaction in this course. Positive reinforcement, praise and play are stressed along with good parenting. Please do not bring dog to the first session.

COURSE: DOG OBEDIENCE Sub Novice
Sub-Novice – Is an on leash course for owners to learn how to train their dogs 7 months and older. All the basics are covered: sit, stay, come, stand, lie down, and heeling. This class is based on positive reinforcement and working on getting your dogs attention and trust. Puppy Kindergarten is not required. Please do not bring dog to first session.
