Traditional Students

Traditional students are those who have only recently graduated from high school (or those who have received their GED in their teens or early 20s). Traditional students have not attended another college or university as a full-time student. If you graduated high school after 2009, and have never attended college before, please register for one of the Traditional Students orientations.

Non-Traditional and Transfer Students

Non-Traditional Students are those who graduated high school before 2009. Transfer students are those who are transferring from another college or university. Non-Traditional Students have generally been in the workforce for a longer period than Traditional Students, and have generally been out of the academic world longer.
