Philosophy of Teaching

I currently teach a variety of sociology and psychology courses at Ohio University Southern.  I have always believed the keys to a successful classroom experience involve preparation, motivation of students, and establishing a relaxed learning environment.  I believe teaching is an art form, and the instructor must bring a certain level of passion and enthusiasm into the classroom.  Excellence in the classroom is a requirement for faculty members at Ohio University Southern.  Our faculty represents the very best in professional service, and we place the needs of our students as a first priority and concern.   I'm very proud to be a tenured faculty member at Ohio University Southern.
