Portia is an electronic media major at Ohio University Southern and currently serves as a special correspondant for the OUS "Make Your Mark" campaign.

SOC 329 (Race & Ethnic Relations) provides undergraduates an opportunity to study social diversity and cultural enrichment at Ohio University Southern. Journey to Wholeness: Gullah Perspectives in Postmodern American Culture was used as a supplemental reading during Winter Quarter, 2008. Students (see below) studied Gullah culture and language using research specific web site.
